Yoga-Well-Being Studio opened at JunctionView Studios in Grand View Heights on July 18, 2011. Since then we have been working to bring together all aspects of the business. We have a new website, a Facebook page, and a Customer Service site through 'MindBody' to enable you to sign up for classes, workshops, Reiki sessions, pay online, keep track of when your membership comes up for renewal, buy gift memberships and the like.
At this time, there are three instructors at Yoga-Well-Being. Sipra teaches most of the classes throughout the week; Becca teaches a Vinyasa class on Tuesday evenings and a Beginner class on Wednesday evenings; and Mary Ann Frye teaches a Core class on Wednesday mornings. Starting in January, Michael Love will be teaching an Ashtanga class.
We want you to practice daily, so we offer several daily classes at different times of the day for one low membership price. The price has been kept extremely low to make it fit every budget. Check out the special deals for the holidays, as well as the possibility of a variety of gift certificates all priced to be reasonable. Since these incredibly low prices are an invitation for you to check out our studio, there is bound to be a rise in the membership rates for us to be able to pay our bills. (We still will be keeping our rates reasonable and more than competitive.)
We want everyone to try yoga - whether you are young or a senior, whether you are strong and healthy or suffering/recovering from an illness, whether you can walk into class or come in a wheelchair - all are welcome.
We offer classes that attempt to create a state of physical 'well being'. You should leave each class feeling an euphoric 'high'. Many of your daily aches and pains such as headaches, backaches and so on, will dissipate following a few classes. When the body is strong and healthy, the quality of life is enhanced and one can function at one's best. This needs to happen every day of our lives, so a daily practice is necessary. You will develop a strong immune system with your daily practice. We invite you to experience a strong healthy body, a good life and a calm mind.
Welcome to Yoga-Well-Being!
Namaste
For the past four years Sipra is my favorite yoga teacher. Every class with her is different and helps to address specific issue that you came with from nightmares that bother you or lack of productivity to neck pain. She describes effects of every movement on body, mind and spirit. I'm very glad that now she opened her own studio and getting to her classes is much more convenient.
